The dog doors were hung at the shelter with care...

...in hopes that some pit bulls soon would be there!

Ok ok, maybe this isn't the best time of year to parody Christmas stories. Last week, dog doors were hung, locks and handles were installed on exterior doors, and we found some leads on HVAC work. This weekend we'll be power washing the concrete to prepare it for the epoxy.

We're also looking for volunteers to help with framing interior walls. The work will begin next Wednesday, July 6th. Preferably, we would love volunteers who have experience framing walls and the ability to bring their own tools. As a token of our appreciation, we'll give you an MPR t-shirt! Contact us to learn more.

In other news, did you know that you can now donate to MPR by playing a game on your phone? Seriously! Thanks to this guy, Seth, pictured below. When you download the FREE game, Pitbull Pop! on your phone and watch the video ads, 20% of all proceeds go toward pit bull shelters.

Seth first became a pit bull fan when he met a friend's pit bull puppy, Farve (pictured here with Seth), and was astounded to learn about the breed's bad rap.

Seth created Pitbull Pop! to help fight the negative stigma of pit bulls and raise money for pit bull shelters. Thanks Seth, you rock!
