Last week, the concrete was poured at the new shelter. It looks great!

The next step in building the new shelter is framing the interior walls. Which means we need a LOT of 2x4s. If you're able to donate, there are two ways to do so:

1. Order online through Home Depot and we can pick it up at the nearest location: Bannister Mall #3016

2. Make a monetary donation to the shelter through our website and we will use your donation to purchase lumber

As always, we are so grateful to our generous donors. This new shelter is truly a collaborative effort and would not be possible without YOU!

It’s amazing to see the shelter taking shape so quickly! Proper planning and coordination clearly made a huge difference. For projects like this, using Fieldwork can be a lifesaver, keeping tasks organized, teams on schedule, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Small tools like these really highlight how technology can support big, tangible results in community projects.

It's great to see the attention given to concrete surfaces and their impact. This is one of the main reasons why we need to focus on ensuring that our yards and gardens remain safe from potential threats. While a beautifully laid-out concrete surface is essential, it's also important to consider natural methods to keep your outdoor areas protected. If you're dealing with unwanted guests like snakes, one of the most effective ways to safeguard your garden is using a snake repellent. I’ve found that combining organic options with concrete installations can create a safer, more enjoyable environment for both your home and garden.

It’s always interesting to learn more about the essentials of concrete and how different aspects of the process contribute to a successful project. The attention to detail, like ensuring the right surface treatment, is key. In my own work, I’ve found that using a high-quality concrete release agent is crucial for a smooth and efficient process. Products like those from Brody Chemical help ensure that your concrete projects go smoothly, with easy mold release and a great finish every time. It’s these small yet significant choices that make all the difference in achieving top-notch results.
