Dog Doors Fund Raiser!
We are thrilled to see construction underway on our new shelter. Thanks to our generous donors, Phase 1 of the fundraising is complete! This means the dirt pad for the building, the exterior materials and labor are all paid for. The shell of the building is now up! Woohoo!
This ALSO means there is still a lot to do, and a lot of supplies still needed. We are currently doing a fundraiser for the dog doors that will allow all of the dogs access between their own indoor and outdoor kennels. We've selected durable, long-lasting doors from Gun Dog House Doors, which aren't cheap but very well built. We need to make sure those doors will survive strong, determined and enthusiastic dogs!
We need to raise $1,500 for dog-doors! If you're able to donate $150 for one door, we will add your name to a certificate that will be hung next to the kennels, commemorating our awesome dog door donors.
AND as an extra "thank you," everyone who donates a door during the month of May will receive one of our new 2016 pint glasses!
As the shelter construction continues, we will be asking for a lot, so we thank you in advance for sticking with us, rooting us on, sharing our posts, and of course all monetary and service contributions!
