​Sue was found as a stray and never claimed. We don’t have any information about her background, but we do know that she’s as cute as button!

Physical Description:

A pocket pittie indeed! Sue is very small. She’s barely bigger than a Min Pin and she looks like one in person. She has very delicate features and reminds us of a baby deer. Sue has a tri-colored coat and short, evenly cropped ears. In photos, she’s a real super model with eyes that speak to you through the camera.



Current Living Situation:

Sue is fostered in home with people and dogs alike. She is living with three adults and five four-legged friends – three male pits, one female pit, and a smaller mixed breed female. So far Sue is interacting well with the pack. Crate training is in progress, where she stays when home alone and sleeps at night. Sue is still having some accidents inside, but housebreaking is in progress. She gets lots of potty breaks outside and is learning that’s where she needs to do her business.



Personality:

Sue is happy girl with a medium level of energy. She is very responsive and eager to please. Foster mom says she is incredibly endearing and loves to snuggle on the couch. Her favorite thing is any kind of stuffy or chew toy.

Behavior with people:

Sue eagerly greets new people. She gets to go to work with foster mom most days, so she meets new people often. She is outgoing with everyone and adores anyone who will give her attention. (Which has to be everyone, right?! She's so cute!)



Behavior with children:

Unknown, but we think she could possibly do well with children due to her dainty size and easy-going personality.



Behavior with other dogs:

Foster mom says Sue LOVES to play with the other dogs at home. She has been well socialized and has always behaved appropriately thus far.



Behavior with other animals:

Unknown, but she has not demonstrated any concerning behavior or prey drive.

Training:

Foster mom says she is a dream on leash. Sue is super food motivated and eager to please. She almost has “sit” mastered and foster mom thinks teaching her most things will be an easy task.

Best Attribute:

Sue is a great listener and wants to be right by your side – a real snuggle bug! Despite her small size, foster mom says she gets really vocal when you are talking to her, or she is playing with a toy. It reminds us of Huskies who like to talk back. 😂
