Background Info:

We don't know under what circumstances Reebok lost his home or why he was never claimed. We have no information regarding his previous history and upbringing. The staff at the local pound brought him to our attention and we clicked right away with this good looking and friendly boy.

Adoption Fee: $ 200
Breed: Pit Bull
Sex: Male
Age: 1-3 yrs
Weight: 45-55 lbs
Health Condition:

Healthy and ready for adoption.

Physical Description:

Is this little guy photogenic or what? We couldn't get a bad picture. Even his intake pictures at the city pound look like cover shots for GQ magazine.

Reebok has a very athletic build, hence his name. He has expressive eyes and the cutest face. He is well proportioned and medium size - maybe slightly smaller than average for a male, but barely. His brindle and white coat is healthy and shiny and his ears were cropped evenly. We can't believe such a good looking boy ended up homeless, but hopefully he wont have to wait too long for a new home.

Current Living Situation:

Reebok is fostered in a home with 5 adults, 4 dogs, from tiny to extra large, and 2 cats.

Foster mom describes him as an excellent guest. She believes that Reebok must have had a home before. He is housebroken and place trained. If you tell him to go to his bed he goes. He will sit there and settle down.

Reebok gets along very well with other animals. His energy level is medium/low. He loves snuggles.

He still has some puppy behaviors such as being a little mouthy but we think it won’t take long to correct. Reebok is a docile boy and will be easy to bring into a new home.

Personality:

Fun-loving, energetic, playful, super smart, and eager-to-please. Reebok loves to do zoomies when in the yard outside but he is polite and well-behaved inside.

We think he would be a great candidate for someone who likes going on long walks and even a little run now and then.

Behavior with people:

Reebok is a friendly little guy, super sweet, but he does bark when something piques his interest outside. He appears to have a good watch-dog personality. While slightly timid or a little unsure when meeting some people, he warms up super fast. He loves to make new friends and to show his personable nature.

Behavior with children:

Reebok has met a few children and was outgoing and friendly with them. His greetings are happy but appropriate. This dog has a very sweet nature and would likely do well in a home with respectable kids.

Behavior with other dogs:

Reebok does very well with the 4 other dogs in his foster home. There are 2 Pitbull's, a Mastiff and a Chihuahua.

Behavior with other animals:

Low prey drive with small animals outside. Good with the cats in his foster home.

Training:

He can be playfully nippy sometimes, but we think it's just a reaction to his new environment - a little bit of structure would go a long way for Reebok. We bet he would ace obedience training because he so smart, and eager to make you happy. He already knows a few commands and is very responsive. Right now he has a great grasp of "sit," "wait," and "down."

Best Attributes:

Reebok has the sweetest smile and is so well mannered. He is always ready for snuggles but when you need a break, he goes and lays on his bed like the little gentleman that he is. Reebok is full of potential for an active or a mellow family looking for an easy, loving and well-behaved dog.

This dog is a pure treasure and we really dont think he will be with us very long so dont miss your chance.
