Penny Ling

Penny Ling is one of the main characters of Littlest Pet Shop. She is a panda with a gift for rhythmic ribbon dancing. Out of all of the characters of the main cast, she is shown to be the most shy and sensitive in nature.

Background Info:
Sweet little Penny Ling was found as a stray and taken to the local pound but a member of the public. We have no information regarding her past but we believe she might have been used for breeding.
Adoption Fee: $ 200
Breed: American Bully
Sex: Female
Age: 2-5 yrs
Weight: 40-50 lbs
Health Condition:
Though healthy and ready for adoption, Penny appears to have a congenital defect affecting her back legs. While mobility is not seriously compromised, she is not a candidate for straining exercise, very long walks or a home full of stairs. We had our vet look at her legs and were told surgery is not needed at this point. She might require pain management later in life to relieve arthritis that could set into her joints. In addition, due to her brachycephalic head structure, she is not very heat tolerant.
Physical Description:
Adorable blue and white low rider with bowed legs, stocky frame and short snout. She's an American Bully type dog and probably has a lot of English Bulldog in her. She is much cuter in person :-)
Current Living Situation:
Fostered in a quiet home with adults and a senior Shepherd male dog. Penny is described as an easy and loving guest.
Housebreaking is in progress and she does well if supervised and with frequent access to the yard.
Penny is kept in a crate at night and when home alone. She is no trouble at all. Foster mom takes her on short walks but she also enjoys a large fenced yard.
From Foster mom: "This little girl is great. Housebroken with supervision, great on a leash, loves car rides! She is good with baths and gets along great with our boy dog and respectful of the neighbor dog"
Personality:
Penny is super easy-going with a typical Bulldog chill. She loves car rides and going on short walks. She is easy to handle and and has a sweet, sweet personality. She wants to cuddle and please you. She is so happy just to be hanging out with you. After being a breeding Mama, she has a whole world of life left to learn about.
Behavior with people:
Slightly timid at first but she warms up real fast, especially if you make peace offering with a few treats. She loves hanging out with her loved-ones and gives sweet little kisses. She is eager-to-please and a real sweetheart.
Behavior with children:
Unknown
Behavior with other dogs:
She does well with her laid back older foster brother who prefers calmer dogs. She might ressource guard though and needs supervision. Otherwise, she is more interested in her people than interacting with the older dog but doesnt mind sharing a home with a compatible dog.
Behavior with other animals:
Interested in squirrels but fairly low prey drive
Training:
Working on learning good house manners and basic training but a fast learner!
Even if you can’t adopt this sweetheart, you can still help by donating for their care.
