Nesquik
Aka "Quicky," is a rabbit character that Nestlé's chocolate-focused brand, Nesquik, uses as their official mascot.
Background Info:
Nesquik was found as a stray, taken to the city shelter and never claimed. We expected someone to come back for this cute guy with the striking eyes, but no one did. We don't have any info regarding Nesquik's background and upbringing.
Adoption Fee: $200
Breed: Pit /Bull Terrier mix
Sex: Male
Age: 10 to 18 mts
Weight: 45-55 lbs
Health Condition:
Nesquik is healthy and ready for adoption.
Physical Description:
A cute little guy who will probably always look like a pup. We believe Nesquik is almost full grown and under 50 lbs. He is stocky and very compact, but just a little guy. And look at those ears! And those eyes!!
Current Living Situation:
Nesquik is fostered in a home with adults and several other pets, including a cat. Nesquik spends his time between a city house and a country house where he gets exposure to a ton of stimulus. The little guy is crated when home alone, but that doesn't happen very often. For the most part he enjoys playing with his foster siblings or lounging on the couch with foster mom.
Personality:
Very outgoing and super laidback. The kind of dog who doesn't sweat the small stuff. He is energetic but knows how to chill too. Nesquik is very well-balanced in that aspect. He also has an even temper and affectionate nature.
Behavior with people:
Friendly and comfortable. He doesn't know a stranger. Foster mom describes him as a cuddly puppy with loving energy.
Behavior with children:
Nesquik hasn't been around many kids since being with us, but he's met a couple little ones a few times and no issues were reported.
Behavior with other dogs:
He currently gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, but doesn't always take no for an answer. The older dogs find him annoying, as his level of energy doesn't always mesh with everyone. He's been put in his place by an irritated older female before, but foster mom is not sure if he got the message. We believe that his puppy energy could trigger conflicts if he was placed in a home with incompatible dogs. As he matures, he might not be so tolerant of punishments by other dogs that he irritates.
Behavior with other animals:
Nesquik lives with a cat and leaves it alone (for the most part), because he has several doggy friends to play with and keep him entertained. Foster mom believes that without this outlet, he would constantly be pestering the cat.
Training:
Nesquik is responsive and smart.
