Background Info:
Montana was found as a stray and taken to a local animal shelter. Nobody ever came to claim him. We don’t know anything about his past, but we’re certain he has a very bright future!

Physical Description:
This lanky pup has a beautiful fawn and white coat. He has striking lightly colored eyes that are incredibly captivating! 😍 He has mastered the always adorable head tilt, which only adds to his charm.
Current Living Situation:
Montana is fostered in a busy home with five adults, two cats, three Pit Bulls, and a Chihuahua. He fits right in! He is free to roam about when people are home but gets kenneled when they’re out. Montana has access to a fenced yard and has not had any accidents inside. He gets to go on car rides often and especially loves going out to the family farm where he gets to explore.
Personality:
Montana is a super sweet dog. He’s happy, outgoing, and LOVES people. His favorite thing to do is snuggle and give kisses. Awww!
Behavior with people:
Friendly with everyone, after all, everyone is a friend in this boy’s eyes! He loves everyone the same and is happy to initiate a connection. Not an ounce of shyness in his body.
Behavior with children:
Montana is good with kids as well, but being a puppy, he can be a bit jumpy at times. He will need guidance and training to learn appropriate greetings with little ones.
Behavior with other dogs:
This social boy did great in play groups at the animal shelter with appropriate greetings and play. Foster mom says this has continued in their home and Montana gets along with the other doggos in the house. He loves to play but knows boundaries.
Behavior with other animals:
He hasn’t shown a prey drive so far and cohabitates with the feline friends in his foster home just fine.
Training:
Montana is very food motivated and sharp. He is crate trained, housebroken, and learns new things easily.

He’s truly the complete package – handsome, smart, gets along with all creatures, and loves his people. Montana will stick by your side and be a very loyal companion.
