Lieutenant Starbuck
Lieutenant Starbuck of the Colonial Service is a fictional character in the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica. Starbuck is an orphan starfighter pilot, well liked by his peers.
Background Info:
Starbuck was found by a member of the public as a stray along with his pal, Callibella. Calli is also in our program, but she has been adopted! He has such a precious face and good demeanor that we knew he deserved a spot at MPR.

Physical Description:
A compact dude shorter than average in stature. He has such a smooshy face with big jowls and loose skin all over! One volunteer described his extra skin like a he's a sack of potatoes in too big of a bag hahaha.
Lt. Starbuck is a light brown color with a dark snoot and some black eyeliner around his eyes. He looks like he's wearing smokey eyeshadow on for a night out lol. If doggy Invisalign was a thing, Starbuck would be a top contender! The boy has some bottom teeth that lean very much toward the crooked side! 😂

A resident at the MPR shelter.
Personality:
Lt. Starbuck is pretty middle of the road. He can be chill or playful. Usually playful, and then chill! He can run zoomies for a solid ten minutes and then he settles down for some loving. If you get him on his back, he turns into a grunting seal for belly rubs!
Behavior with people:
Total sweetheart. He has not displayed any preferences. Starbuck loves getting to play with various shelter volunteers throughout the day. He gets excited to meet new people and is learning to keep his mouth on his toys and his kisses on his humans!

Starbuck did well in playgroups at the local shelter before coming to MPR. He could possibly live with a compatible female.

Training:
This little guy is great on a leash! He likes to taste things so we are trying to curb the urge to nom on things he shouldn't. We are also working on some basic commands with him like: sit, down, and touch.

This boy is just too cute for words! His physical appearance and playfulness are sure to make you chuckle. From his baggy skin to his derpy crooked teeth!
