Physical Description:

This cutie pie is blue and white with the most adorable ears that stand up. He has the tiniest teefers that occasionally peak out from his bottom lip. He’s small and well-proportioned. Just his appearance alone will be sure to make you smile!



Current Living Situation:

Jive is fostered in a single-family home with adults and other four-legged friends. There are two cats, and four dogs – three pit mixes and one chihuahua. He currently gets along with all of them. Jive is kennel-trained but is loose in the house when home alone and gets to sleep in bed with foster parents at night.



Personality:

Jive has a medium energy level. He’s always happy and just a total crack-up. His ears that stick up are hilarious alone, but he sleeps on his back with his legs sticking straight up into the air as well. He is very loving and wants to get as close to his people as he possibly can. Awww. Foster mom says he doesn’t bark much and when he does, it’s not loud at all.

Behavior with people:

Jive is friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets.



Behavior with children:

He is well behaved when meeting kids. He has met a human baby and Foster mom said he was very polite.



Behavior with other dogs:

After proper introductions, Foster mom says Jive gets along with the rest of the pack and seems to play well others.



Behavior with other animals:

Low prey drive. Jive ignores the cats he lives with in his foster home and doesn’t pay attention to squirrels either when out for a walk.

Training:

Foster family has potty trained Jive and are now working on leash-walking. There is a 6-foot fence that encloses the yard in his foster home, but they are teaching him leash manners as well. He is crate-trained but can be trusted to be left loose in the house. Jive hasn’t shown any bad behavior when he’s left alone.

Jive is hilarious. His personality, his looks, even the way he sleeps is amusing. And he’s such a lover! He will make a lucky family soooo happy, providing endless entertainment and love.
