One of the short straight lines or sections of a zigzag course at an angle to a zig.
Zag was found as a stray and when his owner came to the pound to get him back, he decided to leave him there instead of getting him neutered as required by law in Kansas City. We think the little dude is better off with us considering his owner didn't care enough about him to do the right thing.
Adoption Fee: $150
Breed: Pit Bull
Age: 1-3 yrs
Weight: 40-50 lbs
Color: Blue Brindle & White
Zag is healthy and ready to start a new life with the family he deserves.
Beautiful blue brindle coat, a little hard to capture just how nice it is on pictures. Zag is not tiny but a little more on the small side for a male APBT. Very compact though, muscular and well proportioned. He's as cute as can be... and look at those ears!
Zag is soaking up the good life at MPR shelter. He's a charm in his kennel, quiet, patient and non reactive. He's proving to be as easy as can be and very well behaved. We're in love!
Look at that face! Need to say more? That little dude has stolen the heart of the volunteers the minute we met him. He is as sweet and fun-loving as he is cute and has quickly become a favorite.
Zag is outgoing but not a spaz or at least not for long. He is quite the energetic little dude when he first come out of his kennel. He's playful and active but not crazy hyper. Zag is also very sweet and cuddly. He was selected from the city pound as a prospect for our program because of his charm and great potential as family companion. What a great pick! We couldn't ask for a better one.
Behavior with people:
He's got it all! Loving, super friendly, respectful, eager to please and so very charming. Volunteers are smitten and none of us think he will be with us very long. He's too cute and too sweet.
Behavior with children:
Unknown but we can't anticipate any problems. Zag is comfortable with everyone he meets. Not pushy at all but always happy. Bet he would love to be in the middle of the action with everyone. That said, he does enjoy a good round of zoomies every so often and is not always very delicate about it. A home with bigger and tolerant kids or over 10 years old would be great.
Behavior with other dogs:
We were told he was great with female dogs. Might be dominant with other males. Zag could be an only pet or he could share a home with a friendly and outgoing female in a home with breed savvy owners.
Behavior with other animals:
He is definitely interested in the squirrels in the yard. We believe that he could actually be a fence jumper is something piqued his interest.
We do not recommend a home with cats.
So well behaved, responsive and eager to please. He is not destructive of his bedding and no trouble at all in his kennel. Zag is happy to learn new things, smart and he loves nothing more than making his loved-ones happy and proud. We bet he would ace an agility class!! This dog loves to learn and to have fun.
Charm galore with this one! Zag loves people as much as people love him. He's adorable inside and out and no one can resist his magnetism. To meet him is to love him; guaranteed!
