This poor boy came into a local shelter a few weeks ago with burns on his back and head. They don't know what actually happened to him. It's obvious he's had a rough time. We promised him we'd heal him up and he'd never be hurt again.

Living Situation: Wade's living in the suburbs with 2 adult humans and 2 adult dogs. His foster parents have a fenced in backyard (5ft chain link and 6ft privacy fence). Wade is currently in his kennel while his foster parents are at work, usually 6-8 hours, 5 days a week. He sleeps in his kennel at night too. Wade is kennel trained and housebroken. Wade loves to play with toys and he'll take naps in an open kennel when he gets tired.
Personality: Wade has a great disposition. He is very people friendly. He is very playful. Wade is very food motivated. He's very smart. Nothing about his ordeal has negatively affected his outlook on life.
Behavior with people: Wade loves people. He's a very happy guy. He enjoys cuddling with his foster parents, following them around, and being a family companion.
Behavior with children: Wade hasn't met any children yet but we don't see there being any issues.
Behavior with other dogs: Wade would do best as an only pet.
Behavior with other animals: Wade met a cat recently and had WAY too much enthusiasm! He needs to be in a home with no cats or small dogs.
Training: Wade has started going on walks and is very strong. His foster parents are working on his leash manners, but right now he is very interested in everything going on. Wade is food motivated and will do anything for a treat. He is house and kennel trained.
Best Attribute: His soul. Wade's had a rough go of things, but he doesn't let it get him down and he's a great dog.
