Healthy and ready for my forever home!
Theodore is currently in foster care. He lives with two adult dogs, and one puppy. He is kenneled when no one is home.
Theodore is a sweet reserved puppy, but when he comes time to play he brings on the fun. He has learned a lot about play in short time interacting with the other puppy in the house, as well as other cues he missed out on learning from his siblings. He is happy to curl up beside you and take a snooze. He seems somewhat dominate when playing with the other puppy, but that might be due to the personality of the puppy he is interacting with. It is hard to know the full extent of a puppy's personality at such a young age and we are sure his personality will evolve as he grows.
Behavior with people:
Good, he enjoys meeting new people.
Behavior with children:
We don't have reason to believe that Theodore wouldn't pair well with respectable children.
Behavior with other dogs:
Great, he enjoys socializing with the other dogs in the home.
Behavior with other animals:
Unknown. He would likely be able to live with other animals if introduced at a young age.
Oh the joys of a puppy. Puppies are fun because there is so much that you are able to teach them while building a relationship, and it is very rewarding. Puppies are also a lot of work! Theodore is in his prime learning stage for create and potty training. He will need something who has extra time and patience to devote to mastering this essential skills.
When he is unsure of what to do next he patiently takes a seat and looks to you with those beautiful eyes. Those eyes, that face, do we need to say more?
