This dog is gorgeous. He has a very unique liver fawn brindle coat. Very soft and velvety. Someone cropped his ears to try to make him look "mean" but that didn't work very well.. He has the sweetest eyes and you can tell right away he's just a big lover.
Suede is average size but stocky. He has big feet that dont fit the rest of his body. Makes him look even more adorable.
Suede is sheltered at MPR's refuge. He is well behaved and easy in his kennel. He uses the doggy-door to let himself out when needed and keeps his inside run nice and clean.
Suede is non-reactive when dogs walk by his kennel and doesn't bother them as he goes in and out. He is patient and quiet, though he likes to flip his food bowl after he's done eating and entertain himself with it as if it was a toy. This dog is very endearing and our volunteers are all falling for him, big time.
Such a sweet lovable goof. A little clumsy, a little unsure of everything but very eager to learn. We dont think Sueded was treated very well prior to rescue but he's very interested in discovering the world with good people. He's like a big innocent teddy-bear.
Suede likes to do a few zooming laps in the yard but he seems to enjoy cuddling on the couch even more. He's pretty chill most of the time and very responsive.
Behavior with people:
A little timid at first, he warms up very quickly and definitly knows how to turn on the charm He's a bit of a big baby and we believe he might get very attached to his loved-ones. He could be a little protective but should be able to get his cues from his family. New owners should continue socialization work with him so he learns to be comfortable in all situations and with all people.
Behavior with children:
Unknown. He's a sweet, clumsy boy and should do well with older children. He might be a little too sensitive and unsure to be in a home with toddlers. He is gentle and polite though and responsive to training.
Behavior with other dogs:
We were told he did well with female dogs when introduced to a few before coming to our program. We haven't had him with other dogs since he's been him with us. This info will be updated if his situation changes.
Behavior with other animals:
Currently learning the basic and doing very well. He has a lot of potential and is eager to please.
His beauty is undeniably striking but that's his loverboy charm that wins you over... and those big adorable feet!
