This sweet boy was found living out of a car and that was not the ideal life for any dog, especially in this summer heat. Reeve is now living the good life in foster care.
Adoption Fee: $200
Breed: Pit Bull
Sex: N Male
Age: 8 to 10 wks
Color: Blue fawn
Reeve is finishing up his treatment from kennel cough, but is otherwise heathy and ready for adoption.
Beautiful blue fawn coloring with a small white patch on his chest. Light eyes and a brown nose to top it off.
Reeve is fostered in a home with adults and 2 other dogs. He is kenneled when home alone. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom with no accidents through the night. He is a great snuggle buddy.
Reeve is such a fun boy. He has a pretty middle of the road personality, not extreme in any one direction, just very well balanced. He loves to drag his toys around the house and better yet get one into bed so he can multi task and cuddle at the same time. He seems to be a quick learner and should be a fun dog to train. He is food motivated and takes direction well. He has great bite inhibition for his age. When he does become mouthy he is very easily redirected onto a toy. Did we mention he boy is an all star cuddler? If you want the best of both worlds this is the pup for you.
Behavior with people:
Reeve enjoys meeting new people and wins his new friends over instantly.
Behavior with children:
Reeve has only been around children for a short amount of time, but did great. He would be great in a home with respectable children.
Behavior with other dogs:
Reeve enjoys the company of his foster siblings. He plays well with them and doesn't overly annoy them as some puppies tend to do. He responds well to their corrections and is able to give them space when needed. He would do well in a home with a compatible female. He would also do great in a home as an only child as long as he got all that extra attention from his humans.
Behavior with other animals:
Reeve has not been introduced to any other animals. He is too young to notice any sort of pray drive. Puppies tent to be successful in a home with other small animals if socialized at a young age.
Reeve is just starting basic training as well at potty and kennel training. We think he will be a quick learner but hasn't been working on these skills long enough to master any one of them.
We know he is a puppy and all puppies are cute, but have you seen his sweet little face? He is just as beautiful on the inside and it doesn't get much more perfect than that.
