Raja lives with 2 adults, 2 teenage girls and 2 adult dogs. She enjoys playing ball or playing in the water hose in the huge backyard enclosed by a privacy fence. During the day Raja is crated and rotated with the other 2 adult dogs. In the evening she is out with them. At bedtime Raja sleeps with the 14yr daughter old in her bed. Raja is fed in her kennel. Her ideal forever home would be an active family with older children, and with a nice size yard with privacy fence.
Raja is a smart, silly girl who loves water and enjoys her basketball. She loves to steal the bed or snuggle up to you on the couch also. She will be your shadow in the house and loves her outdoor time.
Behavior with people:
Raja has loved every adult she has met. She is very affectionate and always ready to cuddle.
Behavior with children:
She hasn't met young children yet but she does fantastic with the teenagers in her foster home. She follows my daughter around and talks to her. A home with older children would be preferred due to her activity level. Sometimes she forgets that she’s not the size of a Chihuahua…
Behavior with other dogs: Raja was introduced to the 2 adult dogs after 2 weeks. She is crate and rotated with them now. She gets along well with them both. She is learning how a pack works. We think she would make a great companion to a compatible male.
Behavior with other pets: She will chase cats and squirrels. Might even jump a low fence if not well supervised.
Training: Raja is housebroken and has been kenneled for up to 8 hours. She has been walked and pulls a bit so she's still working on not pulling. She does know outside, kennel, no, sit, shake and hi-five. She is responsive and eager to learn.
Best Attribute: Raja's attitude makes her shine!! She is always happy and eager to please. She loves to entertain the gallery with her antics and to put a smile on everyone’s face. Her positive attitude is contagious and her loving nature very enjoyable.
