One of the Shoppies dolls, Pippa is always natural and easy-going and never upset by what others say. Pippa is a real optimist with a great sense of fun.
Unbelievably, this adorable puppy was seized by animal control on cruelty charges. How could anyone abuse and neglect such a precious pup is beyond us. Pippa is now safe in our program, looking forward to a better future.

This cutie-pie is healthy and ready for adoption.
Very pretty girl, medium size (still growing) with a beautiful white coat and blue patches. She is close to have reached her height now but will most likely get a little thicker.
Living it up at MPR shelter. She actually loves shelter life, as its MUCH better than her previous situation. Imagine when she's finally in a loving home with a family of her own.
Pippa is still very much a puppy, so a little ornery at times. She does well in her kennel for the most part but likes to re-arrange her bedding. She doesn't shred her blankets, but drags them around to amuse herself and redecorate.
She wasn't housebroken when she came to us but is learning very quickly. She figured out the doggy-door real fast and now lets herself out to potty in her outside run when needed. She had a few accidents in the playroom when she first arrived, but is quickly learning that she needs to go outside to potty. She's super smart!
Pippa is outgoing and very fun-loving. Not only is she still a puppy, but she was obviously neglected when growing up and needs to redo the normal learning phases puppies typically go through at a younger age.
She's learning fast and avidly but she's a work in progress. She needs a tin of patience, solid structure and positive leadership. She is a typical mischievous teenager who will test her boundaries if given the opportunity.
Pippa is very smart, curious and resourceful. This can be a bad combination is she doesn't receive proper management. In the right hands however, she has the right personality to ace obedience training and become an awesome companion.
Behavior with people:
Very friendly and outgoing. Eager to make friends and socialize. She's learning how to behave appropriately with people and soaking it up.
Behavior with children:
She has no malice but she is mouthy and has a hard mouth. She's basically acting like an 8 week old in the body of a 10 months old. We dont recommend a home with small kids for the moment. Our training team is working on teaching her bite-inhibition and we will update her bio as she does better.
Behavior with other dogs:
Pippa played with other dogs while she was at the city pound and was described as a "rowdy player". We can see why. If paired with another dog now, she would need a very playful and tolerant male. She still has a lot of maturing to do and we expect her to improve a great deal now that she is given the opportunity to learn how to be a well-behaved family companion.
Behavior with other animals:
Definitely a work in progress, but progressing she is. We are about to enroll her in an obedience class and will update her bio as soon as we have more information.
Easy; She too cute!!! She's a little ornery but at the same time she is full of potential. Provide her with leadership and structure and she will thrive into a delightful adult.
