Sumerian goddess personifying the primeval sea: The mother of the gods and of heaven and earth.
Nammu was picked up as a stray by a good Samaritan and brought to KCPP.
She was pregnant and due to give birth at any time and that is when MPR stepped in to provide a foster home for the soon-to-be mom and her puppies. Nammu is currently nursing and will available when she's done and has been spayed. We promised her this is the last litter of puppies she will ever have.
More information as we get to know Nammu.

Living Situation: In a foster home.
Nammu has never met a stranger. She lives in her foster home with 2 adults. We have not seen her interact with children but have a feeling she would make a great friend for a kid. Her foster home has a fenced in yard and Nammu is taken on walks. She could benefit from some leash training. She does well in the car, but wants to be close to her people. She is kenneled in a larger kennel during the time she is home alone as well as night. I’m sure she would enjoy a family that would let her cuddle up with them at night. She seems to be housebroken and kennel trained. The ideal living situation would be a loving family that enjoys spending a good amount of time with their animals as well as taking them on adventures. Nammu is very social and craves human affection.
Nammu is a very outgoing, happy pup. She enjoys the interaction she has with humans. She at times can be silly. Nammu is super cuddly and well behaved. She enjoys all the visitors that have come to meet her. Her foster home has not had her long enough to know if she has any sort of prey drive. She has not yet been introduced to any children, but we have a feeling she would be a good fit for a family with kids. I would say her energy level is moderate. She is currently in a foster home with other adult dog but has not met them yet, so we are unsure how she would do with other dogs. When she was taken in as a stray, KKCP stated that she seemed fine with other dogs that she saw when out on walks. Nammu would be an awesome addition to a family. Please give this sweetheart a chance, she deserves it

Nammu seems to be both housebroken and crate trained. She listens well and should be easily trained. She seems to know some basic obedience and sits very nicely.
Nammu beams with joy and will be a dog that is happy to share life with her people and provide them with all the love that they will ever need.
