Mabel Pines (born August 31, 1999, 5 minutes before Dipper Pines) is a bouncy, energetic, optimistic, enthusiastic, and free-spirited 13-year-old girl spending the summer with her Great Uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon
Mabel and her brother Dipper were not being properly cared for in their former home and were taken in by animal control. They were selected as candidates for our program by the intake staff and we agreed they were awesome as soon as we met them. We made room for them in loving foster homes and they are now ready for adoption.
Adoption Fee: $150
Breed: AB/Pit Mix
Age: 8- 14 mths
Color: White & Brindle
Mabel is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and healthy
Medium size but still growing. She might be over 65 when full grown. We think she might have American Bulldog in her. Her coat is soft and shiny dark brindle and white and she has amazing eyes. One eye is light blue.
Mabel is fostered in a home with 2 adults, 3 teenager kids and 2 other adult Pit Bulls. Her foster family has taken several dogs in foster care in the last couple of years and Mabel is one of their favorites as she is so sweet, loving, easy and well behaved.
There is a large fenced yard with privacy fence. Mabel doesn't appear to be an escape artist. She is very content to be where everyone is and doesn't seem to be overly curious or tenacious.
Mabel is crated when home alone.
Very sweet, a little timid, more on the submissive side but she warms up quickly. Super eager to please; Mabel is sensitive and you can easily hurt her feelings. She bounces right back however, as she loves people so much and wants nothing more than being loved in return.
Her energy level is medium. She's very happy to do what ever the rest of the group is doing and that includes people and dogs. She's very "go-with-the-flow" kind of gal.
Behavior with people:
A little timid but very eager to make friends. She just needs a little reassurance and as soon as she realizes you're a friend, she gives you her heart.
Behavior with children:
Mabel hasn't been around young kids but she's awesome with the teenagers in her foster home.
Behavior with other dogs:
Mabel gets along great with her foster siblings. Both of them are a little older than her and she respects their ways and the hierarchy in the home. Mabel is somewhat submissive to other dogs but playful at the same time.
Behavior with other animals:
Unknown on cats. Low to no prey drive on squirrels and such. There are reptiles in her foster home and she ignores them.
She's natualry well behaved and eager to please. Very easy and polite. She learns a lot from observing the adult dogs. Mabel is crate trained and house broken.
Her eyes are amazing but her beauty goes deep. This dog is a gem and promises to be a wonderful companion. Her foster family is smitten. She will be a hard one to let go but they know they will help another after her so they are committed to saying goodbye, as long as a new family promises to treat Mabel as good as they do.
