An incredibly sweet and long lasting flavorful chew that comes in a variety of fun assorted flavors. With jokes on every wrapper, unwrap some delicious silliness.
This adorable puppy was left in an abandoned apartment and was brought into the city pound by animal control. Despite her ordeal, she was all smiles and tail wags when the staff did her intake. They were so impressed by her positive spirit that they selected her for our program right away.

Laffy has been struggling with recurring urinary track infections. She lost a recent adoptive home as a result. Our vet hasn't been able to identify the cause yet but is working on it. We are currently awaiting test results and tentatively treating her with a different antibiotics.
Liver and white with THE cutest little red nose. Seriously. Look at that face!
Though Laffy has spent quite a bit of time since her rescue in homes with children and other pets, we recently transferred her back to the shelter as she needs a doggy-door to help with her urinary issues.
As we hoped, she's doing very well when she has free access to an area to do her business. Poor puppy is simply unable to hold her urine but tries very hard. Hopefully we will have the UTI's under control very soon.
Laffy is very smart and filled with a love for life. Her perfect home will have a fence, maybe some older children to play with.
Like any puppy her age, she needs an owner who is committed to training and consistency. She is going to grow into an incredible dog.
She loves to play fetch, and do zoomies in the yard. She is also a bit mouthy, and will attempt to chew your hand if she can. She is currently being redirected to toys and nylabones. This is going very well.
Laffy Taffy is a little uneasy in the car and should be restrained with a crate.
Overall, Laffy has the potential to become an incredible adult. She needs training and a calm, consistent owner.
She is learning the ropes and is quite intelligent.
Behavior with people:
Typical young Pit Bull! She loves people and doesnt know a stranger. She can be a little exuberant in her greetings but is learning to control her enthusiasm. She's a work in progress but full of potential.
Behavior with children:
Laffy is very friendly with children and prefers them to adults. She is however, unaware of her size and will jump up when really excited. She's just a happy puppy and acts according to her age.
Behavior with other dogs:
Introductions are still in progress but she has shown positive interest in having doggy-friends. A home with a compatible male is an option.
Behavior with other animals:
She seems excited to see a cat when on a walk. Sort of perplexed about what the creature might be. We won't rule out a home with cats but we cant garanty how she would do.
She knows how to sit and stay. She is content in her crate with a frozen peanut butter Kong for bed.
She loves to go on walks, but enjoys walking herself (carrying the leash in her mouth). When this happens, her walk stops and she is ignored. We are already seeing an improvement.
She understands the concept of housebreaking and will cry at the door if she needs to go outside. for the moment however, she is unable to hold her bladder and will have accidents in the house if she doesn't have free access to the yard. We are addressing this issues but she has recently lost an adoptive home because of her urinary problem.
Laffy’s best trait is her absolute joie-de-vivre and how contagious it is. She finds joy in everything and is eager to go on whatever adventure her people are. She is smart and picking up on manners very quickly and already has many basics down.
