"One for the money, two for the show, three to make ready, and four to GEROOOOONIMOOOOOOOO!!" ~Daffy
With his comical overbite that makes him look like a duck and his happy-go-lucky personality, Daffy seduced the city intake staff as soon as he walked in the door. They immediately contacted MPR and put a plea for him. The minute we met him, we understood why they were so smitten. This little guy is impossibly irresistible!
We don't know how he landed at the pound but we know that no matter what happened to him, he's ready to move on.

Healthy and ready to go!
Daffy is currently in foster care with a young adult female Pit Bull, as well as 2 adults and 2 children. He is house trained and kennel trained. Daffy stays in his kennel when his foster family leaves for the day and he keeps it clean. He would prefer to sleep in bed with you, but will be content sleeping on the couch at night if you can’t handle his snoring (Haha!).
There’s a large yard with a low fence in his foster home and he has not made any attempt at climbing the fence. He is however, always supervised when outside.
Daffy is a happy goofball of a dog. He isn’t graceful and doesn’t care. The clumsy clown is very easy to please. His likes are simple: Play around, be petted and receive lots of love. He is also content with lying next to you if you don’t have time for him.
Daffy is on the small size for a Pitty; under 50 Lbs. He might be mix but we have no clue with what... Maybe a duck…
Daffy’s level of energy is moderate, somewhat on the low side. He’s more about being a goofball and falling off the couch, than about running speed laps in the yard. He’ll do a few zoomies like most Pit Bulls, but he’s definitely not a hyperactive dog.
Little guy does well on a leash and loves to go for walks. He’s curious, outgoing and very interested in the world around him. He will gladly stop to smell the flowers, sniff the bugs, mark the trees or lick a passerby’s hand, if you let him.
Behavior with people:
Daffy is wonderful with everyone; men, women, kids, you name it. He doesn’t judge and loves everyone the same. The funny little guy is thrilled that people are drawn to him because of his comical appearance and won’t miss an occasion to add to the fun with a silly wiggle, or clumsy kisses. He’ll fall all over people’s legs, then roll on his back for a belly rub. He is VERY charming and have pretty much everyone he meets in love with him in no time.
Behavior with children:
Daffy does well with children. He isn’t rough and doesn’t jump on them. He just like to play and have attention. Kids love him too because he’s not too big and not brutal. He’s just pretty clumsy, which makes them laugh. He really is a great candidate for a home with children.
Behavior with other dogs:
Daffy lives with a female pit bull that is about the same age. They love to run and play with each other. He does well with her even when she is antagonizing him to play and tolerates her antics with a grain of salt. She runs the show and he’s fine with that. We think he would do well in a home with a compatible female dog.
Behavior with other animals:
Unknown at this time.
Daffy is limited on his training, but he is responsive to it. He knows how to sit and when to go into his kennel. He’s an easy dog to take care of and no trouble at all.
Daffy is a comedian and a lover. He is such an easy-going dog and nothing really seems to bother him. He is happy playing or just lying around. He just wants to be with humans that love him back as much as he loves them. The best thing about him though, is his silly face with its hilarious overbite and the personality that fits it. This little guy is funny and he knows it and nothing makes him happier than to bring a smile in people’s face.
