Confetti are small pieces of paper or metallic material, usually thrown at celebrations, especially parades and weddings. In Italian the word "confetto" means small, candy, sweet.
Confetti was found abandoned in an apartment by the landlord, after the tenant moved out. Thankfully it was only a few days so she was ok. We dont have any other information regarding her past, but we can tell you that she is a cheery gal with a positive spirit. The past is the past. She's ready to move on!
Adoption Fee: $150
Breed: Pit Bull
Age: 1-3 yrs
Weight: 45-55 lbs
Color: White & Red
Healthy, spayed, UTD on vaccinations and ready for adoption,
She is CUTE! Mostly white with brown freckles and a brown patch over her right eye. Her funny monkey face is as irresistible as her freckles!
Confetti is fostered in a home with two adults and 1 mature male Boxer mix. She is crated when home alone but sleeps with her foster family at night. There is a 4 foot wooden picket fence in her foster home, which she respects. Foster mom tells us that this cutie-pie is no trouble at all.
Update from foster mom: "A great little girl. She is people friendly and dog friendly. She loves to snuggle with her foster brother and foster parents. She would do well in a home with another dog or as an only dog getting all of your attention. She is out with us when we are home and sleeps with us at night. During the day, while we are at work, she is in a crate."
She is the sweetest girl who just wants to be loved. She has bursts of energy and will chew on her Nylabone and other toys but is just as happy to snuggle on the couch and watch TV.
Her foster mom describes her as medium to low-energy, couch potato and very eager to please.
Behavior with people:
She gets a little excited when first meeting people but immediately calms down and just wants you to per her. She is very outgoing, people-oriented and eager to make friends.
Behavior with children:
Unknown. There are no children in her foster home. That said, she is a very happy-go-lucky gal and we cant believe she would not enjoy little ones. She doesn't seem to have any hang-ups.
Behavior with other dogs:
As of now, Confetti loves all dogs she meets. She was in playgroups while at the city shelter and did very well. We were told she knows how to play with all types of doggie personalities.
Behavior with other animals:
House trained, crate trained, knows sit. Would be easy to train on other things as she loves her treats and wants you to love her.
Confetti has the cutest ears and the most amazing smile. You cannot help but fall in love with her face and then her personality.
