Cauliflower is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. 6 weeks or rest and she should be back to normal. Even if you can’t adopt this sweetheart, you can still help by donating for her care.
Cauliflower has cauliflower ears in both ears from her old life of neglect. Her ears are a little thicker than normal but they don’t bother her or detract from her cuteness! She's medium size, white and tan, has an irresistible face, adorable little pug nose and the sweetest expression.
Cauly if fostered in a home with adults only. There is an older and larger male dog. She has access to a medium/large yard with privacy fence. She also goes on daily walks and behaves like a little lady when on an outing.
Cauly is kept in a crate when no one is home and at night. Her crate needs to be reinforced with zip ties but she's actually doing better now that she is crated next to another dog. She is not thrilled to being left alone but is improving.
Cauliflower is a sweet little girl who loves to be with people. She will sit in your lap or just share the same couch. She is great on leash walks and loves car rides. She is in the process of being introduced to her foster brother.
Behavior with people:
Very friendly, loving, a little needy but not overbearing. She's very affectionate and has an easy-going personality.
Behavior with children:
Unknown but we have no reason to believe she wouldn't do well in a home with respectful children. She is well behaved, docile and gentle.
Behavior with other dogs:
She was introduced to other dogs before coming to our program and we were told she did well. She is currently in the process of being introduced to her older, bigger foster brother, a Shepherd mix. We will update her bio when we have more info.
Behavior with other animals:
Cauliflower spent some time in a home with cats before entering our program and we were told she loved them.
Working on training. She knows some commands
This sweet, lovely girl is so grateful for any kindness. She wants someone to rub her little ears while she gazes at them adoringly.
