Bellflowers symbolize affection, constancy and everlasting love. Bellflowers also represent humility and delicacy.
Poor unlucky sweet lady. She had a few bad hands dealt her way and longs to unpack her baggage once in for all. She arrived to the city shelter as a stray a few years ago and adopted to a local family. They moved to a municipality with BSL so rehomed her. She didn't get along with the resident dog so her new family got rid of her. Back to the pound she was when we met her. We now promise her to do all we can to make sure her next family will be as loyal to her and she will be to them.

Bellflower is healthy and ready for adoption.
A blue beauty, with the sweetest eyes. Medium size, healthy coat.
Bellflower is being a trouper at MPR shelter. It's not a real home but it beats an overcrowded city pound. We believe she was a well-cared for companion at some point but never found forever love. She sure knows all about belly rubs tho.
Bellflower is very well behaved in her kennel, is quiet, patient, non destructive and keeps it clean. She doesn't appear reactive to other dogs passing by her kennel and doesn't pay them attention on her way in and out. She just wants to be with people.
She is sooooooooo sweet!!!! Made herself a volunteers' favorite the day she arrived. Bellflower is all about affection and belly rubs. She loves to cuddle.
Bell is a little on the submissive side with people, although she perks up around toys. Her energy level is medium to chill. She'll play for a while or will chew on a toy if her loved-ones are busy but cuddle time is her favorite activity.
Behavior with people:
Sweet, loving, well-mannered. She's a doll! She's not shy or standoffish but may be slightly reserved when greeting strangers. "Polite" would describe her well.
We've taken her to a few outings and her favorite thing in the whole world is to roll on her back for belly rubs. And everyone falls under her charm. How could you not? She's currently our favorite dog to take to events because she is so well-behaved, sociable and easy:-)
Behavior with children:
She hasn't been around children since being with us. She's a total sweetheart but we are currently addressing her reluctance to share her toys. It's not a huge issue and we are making great progress already but as of now, Bell will not be placed in a home with kids.
Behavior with other dogs:
She probably should be an only pet. She's a people-dog and doesn't seem interested in making doggy friends. She is not overly reactive or offensive but indicates that other dogs dont make her very comfortable.
Behavior with other animals:
Bellflower is polite, well behaved and very lady-like. She has great house manners and doesn't appear destructive.
Her craving for belly rubs is very endearing. Her good manners and mature personality make her a great companion for someone looking for an easy and loving companion who just wants to cuddle and be close to her loved-ones.
