Anais Watterson is a small pink rabbit and one of the main characters in The Amazing World of Gumball. Anais is super smart and has been shown on numerous occasions to have a knack for solving problems. The name Anais is of French origin meaning "grace" Anais pronunciation
We are unaware of how she lost her previous home but Anais landed at the city pound with her puppy Dobby. They both joined our program this fall and Dobby quickly found a home. Sweet little Anais is now waiting for her turn, while being well cared for in a loving foster home.
Adoption Fee: $150
Breed: Pit Bull
Age: 1-3 yrs
Weight: 40-50 lbs
Color: Liver & White
Healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and ready for adoption.
Medium/small with beautiful markings and the cutest lower lip pout! And those ears! (which her puppy clearly inherited from mom).
Anais is fostered in a home with adults. There's a medium size yard with privacy fence. There are no children in her foster home but an older, large male Shepard mix. Anais is crated when no one is home and at night.
Note that Anais gets excited when the dog next door is at the fence so we recommend a home without close doggy neighbors.
Anais is a fun loving girl. Her foster mom describes her as a little dynamo! She loves to play and is enjoying the fun life after being a teen Mom! She is the butt run queen..... Cold wind? Butt run! Falling leaf? Butt run! New toy? Hooray!! And butt run!
She loves her daily walk and she loves to play with her dog brother Max.
Anais has a medium energy level, slightly on the higher side but she's not a spazz by any means. Just a happy and healthy little Pit bull with normal vitality for the breed. We picture her having as much fun playing Frisbee in the yard, going on long walks in the neighborhood or cuddling on the couch for a movie. Whatever makes people happy will make her happy.
Behavior with people:
Anais loves people and easily makes friends! She wants to say hi to everyone she meets and she's very hard to resist. A real little social butterfly. She has the personality and appearance to charm even those who aren't comfortable with the breed. She just cant believe anyone wouldn't think she is the cutest thing around and want to meet her.
Behavior with children:
There are no kids in her foster home but Anais enjoys meeting children when going on walks in the neighborhood. She is comfortable around them and seems eager to make friends and play. We think a home with children would work well for her.
Behavior with other dogs:
Anais does well with the larger, older dog in her foster home. He's a little bit on the chill side but she manages to coax him to play. They interact very well. She does appear a tad on the dominant side when it comes to other dogs though so something to keep in mind. A home as an only pet would be ideal or with a compatible male companion if owners understand the breed well.
Behavior with other animals:
Foster mom says Anais likes to chase squirrels but is responsive when redirected. We recommend a home with no cats for this silly gal.
Responsive, eager to please, enjoys learning. She is crate trained and housebroken. Very smart!
She has such a goofy personality and the combination of those goat ears and pouty lip is irresistible. Anais is a cheerful dog who has the right disposition to make an excellent family companion. She is no trouble at all, energetic and lively but easy to control. An all around fun-loving little dog, ready to move in with you and start her new life as a fun-loving companion.
