Stevie

Background Info:
Miss Stevie was found as a stray and when no one came looking for her we quickly got her into a loving foster home.
Health Condition:
Stevie is recovering from an upper respiratory infection but is otherwise healthy. It become clear right away that Stevie is deaf. Good news is it doesn't bother her one bit. It takes some adjusting to training a deaf dog but is totally worth it!
Even if you can’t adopt this sweetheart, you can still help by donating for their care.
Physical Description:
Cream with velvet brown ears and covered in spots!
Living Situation:
Stevie is fostered in a home where she is kenneled when home alone. She enjoys the company of the two resident dogs in the home.
Personality:
Stevie has a great disposition! She is a typical puppy; loves to play and then settles in for a good nap. She is going through her mouthy phase, again typical puppy, she is learning that humans aren't a good choice for a chew toy. She loves to play outside and run with the big dogs. Her favorite thing is cuddling up beside her human!
Behavior with people:
Playful and loving. She enjoys human interaction. She does startle easy when she doesn't hear you coming due to her being deaf. It's nice to greet her with a gentle touch so she is aware that you have entered the room.
Behavior with children:
Stevie has not yet met any children. We have no reason to believe she couldn't live in a home with kids. Kids above the age of 5 may suit her better as she may overwhelm a younger kid until she improves with her mouthiness.
Behavior with other dogs:
She enjoys interacting with other dogs. She can't hear warning signs from other dogs, so we would be hesitant to place her with another dog who is on the grumpier side.
Behavior with other animals:
Stevie has had no interactions with other animals outside of the resident dogs in her foster home. Usually when introduced at such a young age other household pets will likely be able to coexist.
Training:
Stevie is currently working on basic commands, potty training, and crate training.
Best Attribute:
We always say it, but have you seen her!?! Such a cutie and paired with a great personality.
